I have the Fiio BTR5, and I really like it. It definitely has enough juice to power these cans.
I use the fiio btr5 for my hd600s, definitely will have enough power for these. Sounds great too

Wow that is a great deal for a pair of Sennheiser's. Not at all familiar with the brand and their line of headphones but I do know the brand resonates with hi-fi, FLAC and gaming ecosystem. I am waiting on a deal for a pair of WH1000XM4 or LG V60.

Hoping Prime Day can lower it further as a Lighting Deal. I could she'll out $259 on a pair but I believe the price can go lower. I do have a pair of QCiis at the moment.

Has anyone here used both these and the SHP9500? I'm curious how they compare.

How's the impedance on these? Do they require a dac/amp? Or can I plug them directly into my phone/audio on the back of my comp? I have a friend looking for some cans, thought I'd recommend these. Thoughts??

Edit:
Never mind, just searched it real quick. These will sound better with an amp, but totally unnecessary, since they are 50ohms.

Q: What is the impedance rating (in OHMs) of these headphones?
A: 50 ohms. You can drive them well with an iPad or other mobile devices. They sound better through an amp but still sound great when using a mobile device.

Get Sennheiser's now folks. They sold their name to a nobody company to make cheap shit and rip you off under the Sennheiser in name only.
A no name company? It sold to Sonova, a Swiss company thats been around since the 40's. They have nearly 4 times the revenue of Sennheiser. They are also a global leader in hearing aids and cochlear implants.

Gonna pull the trigger and give these a try for mixing and (poor) mastering. They've got be more faithful than the Beyerdynamic DT1350's I've been using for years. Especially since those have imbalanced bass response, as do my Shure in-ears. Both output less in the right ear than the left, thought I was losing my hearing but did some objective tests and found it was just a really strange coincidence. Anyway, Rtings seems to indicate these are pretty neutral and faithful to the source, so let's give it a try...

Awesome, I had $10 to use today too. Hopefully these last me as long as as the HD590s I bought in 2005.

Well Senn kinda gave up on audio and sold all of its lines to a medical device co
So there prolly wont be any support but yes I have many senns and they are solid, they are a lil behind the curve on tech i.e. wireless, anc, etc which didnt help
