Anyone know if this monitor allows for split screen to run two applications side by side on the monitor?

I guess this could be achieved on any monitor with a software. I use Spectacle on a mac. I believe windows already has built in window arrangement.

60 hz? Won't this be overkill for business or normal office purpose ?

If your software can run in window mode than yes..... Doing what your doing is the reason I hate large monitors like this I rather get 2 23-27" monitors and set them up side by side when I am running multiple applications. That allows me to have applications running independently with no scaling issues or anything else that could happen when sharing real estate on one big monitor.

When gaming I keep my game constantly in one monitor and all my communication and recording stuff as well as general web surfing in the other.

When working all my main workload is in one monitor, email and communication in the other. I find it vastly more efficient then what I seen with people having large curved 32" monitors.

running two of those at home, good monitor, the only problem is it only has 300 nits, but for 200 bucks you can really complain

Huh? 60hz is the lowest a computer monitor can go except for some weird configs where you can only have 30hz. endez said it works at 75hz too which is nice. For work/business as long as it can 60 that's fine

Use Microsoft FancyZones for a software solution

Got this for $250 last year and it's been great. I remember once it went down to around $209 but didn't last long. This is a solid price!

What resolution are your 2 smaller monitors? I like your idea, but I don't want to need to spend a ton on 2 monitors.
