Good alternative to Google Photos (unfortunately not as good search/AI). Full-quality photo storage is free and unlimited for Prime members, but video is limited to 5GB total. I've turned off video uploads in the app.

Does one have to "Turn on Auto-Save" or will a single photo upload work? There is a desktop app so perhaps that's the easiest way to do this?

FYI, I had an account that said "not eligible" on Amazon's page (yet had never used Amazon Photos), I logged in anyway and just got an email saying I'm getting the $15 credit
