So tempted to get this for my college-bound kid but 12.4" seems tiny.

I've been wondering about the advantage of a Win Surface versus the other 2-in-1 tablets. OP's isn't a 2-in-1 but figured I'd ask anyways. Compared to a Lenovo Flex 5, HP x360, or Asus Vivobook are the haptics that much better on the Surface? Thinking of buying one for elementary student using Seesaw. A bit overkill in terms of hardware but figured if they use it all year it pays off.

For those who don't know, Windows S mode is a strict NO. It's the worst operating system I heard from all friends who had a laptop with this. They all ended up returning or selling it to get a pure windows home laptop.

Not another uninformed person bemoaning Windows 10S. It's three clicks to turn it into regular Windows 10, get smarter friends.
