This is not paintable, but if white is the preference, this is about as cheap as it gets for a quality product from GE..... even cheaper per tube with 24 tube purchase.
I've been down this road, twice before, where i bought "6 packs" or other multipacks, and ended up having to return it after talking with Walmart customer service.
I had to fight tooth and nail to get a return shipping label. They wanted me to drop it off in store (and wait on a long line), or pay for return shipping.
