These were brand new, The 90 day is just woots policy, Apparently warranty claims are YMMV as per previous posts. Post #1 Post #2.

I purchased this to replace a coolermaster 240ml with louder fans, and a pump rattle after a couple months use...

The kraken is barely audible. The only draw back is this is NOT the rgb version. X53 RGB has a RGB Pump and RGB fans. The standard version only comes with the RGB pump.
