Good deal, but I'm wary of Walmart after getting burned the first time with the Kingdom Hearts deal. Added enough household items to get free shipping with the game. Household items were delivered, but the game itself was cancelled, which kind of defeats the purpose of me ordering other stuff in the first place.
Have to say FFXIII - that entire cluster of a trilogy - is the worst storyline FF ever produced. My issue with this games narrative (spoiler free) is there wasn't enough of it - but what was there was good. The additional content didn't hurt either (Kingsglaive + the animated series).
You make it sounds like ff15 wasn't part of the fabula nova crystallis series that ff13 started. It is, or was until right before the release, and therefore a lot of thing didn't make any sense in the game.
I also didn't find the combat to be all that enjoyable, teleport left and right is pretty lame.
And just like ff13, you need to play all dlcs to understand the background story
basically the ff7 remake is a much better game in story ( cannot trump that), action, animation, and music

I've put about 30 hours into this game, but... It's not clicking. I find it boring and repetitive, with none of the magic of classic final fantasy storytelling.
