Ugh, bought the S5 Max the other day…..does anyone have an opinion on if the electric water tank, and larger water tank, in the S5 Max is worth the extra $80?

Idk. The more I research it, the more I'm still leaning towards the S5 Max a bit. Online reviews say it mops better than the S6 Pure and the ability to change how much water it uses is a nice feature. For me, idc that the water tank is twice as big.
I'm suffering research-fatigue….S5 Max or S6 Pure? $80 difference….
It depends in how you plan on using it.
The big difference is the size of the tank.
The tank on S5 is at least twice the size of S6. If you plan on mopping a large area regularly (like an entire floor), take the S5.
I have the S5 on my main floor and one tank is enough for mopping all of it in the morning (small living room, dining room, family room, kitchen, laundry room and half bath) plus an extra kitchen mop at night. I wouldn't be able to do that with the S6.
Everything else seems to be the same between them: battery life, suction, noise, navigation, etc.

I bought the S6 Pure. I'm going to compare the mopping and app features with the S5 Max and see which one I like best and return the other. (This eBay listing has a free '30-day return for any reason' policy. I need to see them in action. I hope I like the cheaper one better!

Bought one before they sold out at this price. Will be my first robot vacuum/mop so I'm pretty excited. The water tank size sounds about right for my needs.
I've had original roborock and it was great. My s5 is the biggest piece of crap ever. It was nice for the first 6 months, now just errors out every other night. I lost count of how many times I've reset it, cleaned it thoroughly, replaced brushes, etc. I'm done. Got Roomba i6+ and their little mopper robot yesterday.
YMMV

I'm still going back and forth though, lol.
I owned the 5S max. The s6 ran circles around it….much smarter machine.
Really? I wonder why that is. The S5 Max is supposed to be superior. What did the S6 Pure do better?
Superior navigation. Our house is TRICKY. Lots of small areas and odd shapes. Never gets lost. Always finishes the job. We ended up getting rid of the s5 because we would often times find it with the red light blinking in the corner of a playroom.
