I've been spoiled by the premium Powerball/Cascade stuff
saving a dollar or two on the detergent isn't worth the water/effort I'd spend pre washing again

Cascade works miracles, but it also kills ya with chemicals.
I typically handle this by rinsing them by hand before use.
edit: 40% coupon appears to be dead. nifty deal for those who got there in time!
