Amazon products are a great, cheap option for many items. However, I have not had good experience with their batteries. They run out of charge quickly or don't generate enough power for electronic devices.

Just a heads up that if you are buying for smoke alarms (although people say they don't hold a charge so maybe not best choice), they are slightly bigger than other 9v batteries, so they may not fit as easily. I believe that was mentioned by other posters in previous reviews of these batteries.

I thought these would be a great deal since I have quite a few pedals and active basses that need 9v batteries. Also seeing the amount of star ratings thought I couldn't go wrong. But these things can't seem to keep a charge even when I unplug everything.

NOTE: Make sure & properly store these "safely" as houses have been burnt down due to improper storage. Have nothing touching the 2 contact points creating a spark.

I did the standard buy first research later and boy are these reviews bad. I think I'm going to have to cancel this one.

you must be looking at really old review. bought same set last August, and it fits perfectly in my smoke alarms. same size as other 9V batteries.

Bought these in November 2020 already hearing the smoke alarm beeps today. They just don't last compared to previous Rayovac and Energizers. The price is good however.

mine fit perfectly also ; I think the old review was from someone who didn't remove the packaging completely
