okay, want a cookie? lol nobody asked what you did, clearly stated what it was for, not a permanent thing yet you had to try to make it about yourself. It's $20, obvs it's not going to be a replacement for a $500+ microphone lmao do your thing tho, just no need to be so extra about a comment.
You get exactly what you pay for with things like this.
Sort of. It's not a linear relationship, though -- it is logarithmic. Doubling the cost at the lowest end of price noticeably increases quality. Doubling the cost at the highest end imperceptibly increases quality.
You can get a decent behringer USB interface and a monoprice real condenser mic for ~$120 if you care a medium amount. But for most people, that will just expose how mediocre the acoustics of their space are.

I got a similar microphone/mount combo but XLR for just $18 and have it paired with my Roland VT-4 and it sounds balanced on both ends and smooth.
Getting a condenser microphone with a mid-tier interface is far more important than just buying an expensive microphone. I would say this setup would be good enough for all but high-end professional work.
Idk about that. People who use airpods in video conferences have sounded pretty bad in my recent experience. I also attended a conference where one speaker had the wired ones and the mic kept rubbing on his shirt collar, it was really awful.
These mics are just earbud mics inside a shockmount. They don't sound good. I'd recommend brands such as Rode, Blue, or Zoom, as they have a history in this realm and have similar setups under $100.
the blue snowball is not good, this neewer is much better but don't take my word for it, look at any video review. I have the nw 7000 and it sounds very good for the money.
I've got this mic. It's fine. Is it as good as my MXL going through my interface? Not at all. Is it better than my laptops built in mic? 1000% yes. If you want something to sound decent on streams, this will be a generous upgrade to any built in mic.

This TONOR XLR mic setup was just $18 with code back in september.
Neewer is a seriously huge company. They do a massive amount of sales. I've had nothing but great experiences with their products over many years.
