EDIT: I'm guessing a separate audio interface would definitely solve low volume issues, maybe these recommendations for $110 total would be decent, hopefully another deal on that xlr mic setup will come up soon

Since I actually make money doing VOs I was just pointing out there's a LOT of people trying to do pro VO work and most of them use MUCH better equipment than this
But hey, it's your money, Sherlock. Good luck.
So what would be most helpful is to talk about what equipment is best in the price range that the original post is obviously in

If I were starting out, I'd avoid this mic like the plague...because you're not going to get any jobs off it. It's a piece of junk.
A person would be better off heading over to Americanmusicsupply.com [americanmusical.com] where you can order basic equipment within a budget...on a payment plan, anywhere from 3 payments to 12 payments...depending on the total of the order.
What equipment would I recommend to a beginner?
I'm not.
There's plenty of VO websites out there that talk equipment, and you can figure out what works best for you.
I should add it doesn't matter how good your equipment is if you don't have an acoustically treated area to record in.
If you're just starting out, spending $35 for a month or two at Gravy For The Brain [gravyforthebrain.com]might be worth your while. The information they have is well worth the price. You can check out their free courses before deciding if you want to plunk down money to check it out.
Reddit [reddit.com] has a voice acting community with lots of nice people willing to offer advice.
Voice Over Extra [voiceoverxtra.com] is also a website for information.
Booth Junkie [youtube.com] on YouTube is fantastic. He covers equipment, mic comparisons, how to use Reaper...loads of information for free...and he's fun to watch.
There's several others that offer free information I can't think of off the top of my head at the moment.
Finally...the fun thing about this business is people in this industry are the most fun, cool, awesome people you'll ever meet/work with. I can't imagine OP is a professional because of the attitude they took when offered suggestions. My suggestion to OP is to be polite and say thank you instead of being an *ss. Being an *ss will come back to bite you in yours.
