I've been waiting for this game since it's announcement. I went to pick it up at Walmart today and it rang up 33.88 (I was expecting 39.99). We are on vacation at West Palm Beach. It is a bit strange for a newly released game to be reduced.
I've seen lots of games $10 cheaper (Mario golf @50) but I didn't know if would extend to lower priced games.

Thanks for the notes! Updated the title to reflect new info. I never knew they discounted $39.99 retail games at launch.
I'm a Nintendo guy so I don't really pay attention to Xbox or PlayStation but from what I have seen they discount just about all titles above $20-$30 or so by around 15-20%. This has been the norm for in-store pricing for at least a couple of years years now.
Cool! I've gotten several games at 49.99 that retail for 59.99 elsewhere but my local Walmart has lower priced games at standard retail like the new game builder and hades. I was surprised to see Tony Hawk discounted but I like it!
