I know this seems like a silly question but does anyone know if I can flip the two pullups bars at the very top upside down, or does removing it completely jeopardize the integrity of the power rack? I want to get this but I have a low ceiling in the garage and height is one of the factors

If those mounting bolts are dead center then it's possible

You can build it with it flipped but depending on how heavy you are you might not be able to use it since you and the pull up bar would be held up by 4 bolts.

As mentioned earlier that you can, but if you decide to get the lat pull down attachment later on then you need the bar to be upright instead of it being flipped

I have this power rack just put it together, Yes you can install it upside down without effecting the integrity, but it would come down so low if you're anywhere near 6' tall it would be a huge burden to do squats or any other stand up exercise. I also got the lat pull down with it, if you plan on installing a lat pull down you cannot install it upside down.

I will always say that racks like this are a fantastic deal. If anyone is ever serious about building up some strength, and plan to keep it going for a few years, dropping a mere 1000 dollars for a rack, bench, cheap weight set like something from dicks, foam pieces, and a couple extra bits like some dip attachments and a belt to add weight to yourself, you'd end up having the cheapest gym membership ever. Upgrading your membership is as simple as adding a few more plates down the line when you're strong enough. No waiting for equipment, your personal music blasting, anything you want. All you need is room to keep it. THAT is usually the hardest part.

You can flip it upside down and it won't jeopardize the structural integrity of this rack.

Thank you
I missed it last time, the pull up bar looks way sturdy then the one I got at home
Plus you can pull all the way.
Thank god it's located dead center otherwise my previous one had me scrape my knees on the wall

I bought this last time it came up and returned it after major headaches… One support beam was twisted and one was rusted under the paint. The manufacturer did send replacement parts no questions asked but both had similar alignment issues. I boxed it all up and sent it back. I ended up buying a Cap brand half rack for $175 and found it to be sturdier and far higher quality (3" beams instead of 2" as well).
