Great deal and rep+. I was leaning towards the EVOO gaming from the Walmart but this has a Zen3 CPU, 3xxx series Notebook GPU (I know its slightly slower than the RTX 2060 in benchmarks because it has 2gb less VRAM - but I am certain drivers will even the gap), and an ASUS build. Yeah I know they're all built in the same sweatshop in Thailand, but I never had problems with ASUS products for the past decade. Also, buying from Sams club gives you very decent customer service, better than Walmart imo.
Rep+ Surprised more people aren't jumping on this. (Zen3, 3 series, ASUS chassis, high quality vendor for $900 ($950 with membership).

It is a good deal but it went out of stock within 30 mins after I've posted it. Now it is back and I got it from your comment. Requested the Moderators to reactivate this deal.

Another thing just wanted to point out. This is not the 80W (max allowed TGP by Nvidia for RTX 3050 Ti) + 15W /w Dynamic Boost version which Jarrod used in his testing. This is 65W + 10W dynamic Boost variant. So, it's performance will be equivalent or may be slightly higher than a RTX 2060 Max-Q 65W version.
Hard to find these kind of information but finally got it from TUF series Press release material.
Was thinking about it, went to view on sams and said 3 left so I panic bought. Could always return it if I decide I don't need it but it seems like a lot of computer for $900

Please do not get EVOO from Walmart
Sure the specs look nice on paper but you'll regret the real quality & build. I've returned 2 EVO before, never again
Great deal, although, that screen is really bad, seems to be the same one as last year model which had overwhelmingly negative response. Very small battery as well, but overall for the price seems pretty solid.

I bit. I've been needing a replacement laptop for a while. Wanted a sub-$1,000 laptop for some light audio editing (for podcasts) and wanted to be able to run Diablo 2: Resurrected. Should fit that bill, right?
Seems like a pretty good deal. 8GB more ram, better Multicore (5600H vs 11300h), webcam, numpad. VS the F15 Dash I got from Amazon Prime Day.
Disadvantages: slower 1-8 thread performance, heavier, bigger. $100 more.
I paid $42 for 8GB more ram, and it is a pretty decent performer, as long as you're not using huge textures to cap the 4GB video ram. These are pretty fast for this price.
If this is the same design as the 2020 model, which Hardware Unboxed reviewed, I would pass. Steve found terrible thermal design so that even if the specs on paper are great, the laptop sucks. https://youtu.be/ZRDUR-rPGsM

I just bought the evoo. Overall, quality seems pretty good. Thermals are great. Screen is surprisingly bright as well. I think the one I have is 250 nits plus and comes with a webcam.
