44.5 Whr battery? Seems a little deficient for a bright QHD screen. Not trying to thread crap

Check some reviews. It has pretty decent battery life.

Is it just the LCD lid that is titanium or the entire case?

Btw, the ID.me discounts 5% work.

edit:
I ordered the 1160G7 version with 96EU Xe video. Total with tax was $1239.

Its a thin hybrid 2in1 meant to be used in tablet mode and the battery is the heaviest component. 44WHr is like average, but trust me having more battery (weight) just means youll never use it as a tablet, so its a trade off. If youre not looking for a thin lightweight 2in1 there are better laptops for you in another category. Also just a quick correction but there is very little power usage difference between resolutions except in graphic heavy workloads (gaming, video editing, 3d modeling, etc), and 450 nits is peak possible brightness, great for outdoors and sunlight but at home or an office youll likely turn it down.

How does this compare to the HP Spectre x360 14 with its OLED 3:2K display ?
Seems the display alone and the premium precise cut quality of the Spectre feels more luxurious compared to this Yoga.
Pros for the Yoga seem to be its lighter (2.5lbs vs the spectre close to 3lbs) and possibly thinner ?

I'm just starting to consider a 2 in 1 so I haven't done much research yet, but make sure you do your research on the Spectre lineup.I thought the same things about it before reading user reviews and apparently it's riddled with problems and QC issues. Maybe not every unit is like that, but it's fairly common for them to thermal throttle and be very loud as well

That is a fair point. Indeed I have heard conflicting reports about the fan having to spin up often even when doing light browsing/youtube on the Spectre. Let me know if you end up digging up more about this/thermal issues.

I just ended up purchasing the Thinkpad X1 I7 configuration for 1230+tax (- 6% cb). Figure there's no harm since supposedly Lenovo has pretty hassle free returns (no restocking fees so long as within 14 days).

My heart still tells me I want the spectre 14 for its gorgeous OLED screen and premium build quality. However its still not on sale on BB (1729, it routinely hits 1299) plus I really want the Poseidon Blue color which is only available on HP but with a ship date of 8/12, which is a crazy long wait.

The main advantage I see with this Yoga is its weight, at just 2.5lbs. I've seen the spectre 14 in person and at 3lbs, it is EVER so slightly heavy I can see it potentially tiring you out more during long use periods as a tablet/note taking. I just may be more sensitive to weight, like i can definetely tell the difference in weight between the Apple MBP at 3lbs vs the MBA at 2.8.

Nice lightweight but powerful laptop. If it had silo for the pen it would be great, also I would prefer a 1080p screen, cause unless you plan to use it with QHD monitors anything over 1080p on such a small screen becomes a strain on the eyes. I am assuming most people like me would not be using it with monitors but be using it mobile all the time in either tablet mode or as a standard laptop.

Great deal though, lenovo x1 still come with spill proof keyboards which is a great bonus. I replace a lot of corporate laptops cause of water and coffee spills so it always blows my mind why other companies don't integrate more spill proof keyboard and chassis designs.
