Literally, it says extra 15% on the product page.

Not bad. Consider this a Google Home Mini (first gen) with a clock face and a slightly worse speaker (there's almost no bass). Fine for podcasts and stuff tho, and having a USB port for charging other devices is helpful too

Just because you misinterpreted their post doesn't mean they're a "dweeb".

Usually people post past prices as a barometer for market trends…often if we hit a low then it may hit it again in the future and some may choose to wait.

Needs to be a very precise time machine too - last time it went fast

VP is a decent seller, from what I gather they sell mostly Best Buy returns

Aww dang I was hoping to snag a few more of these.

Have two and we love them. Makes such a great night table clock. Looks very attractive and it's nice that you can control the brightness. The nightlight feature is cute too.

Would be awesome if the speaker was a bit better, but what can you expect at this price.

I've had good luck with them. I got a refurbished IdeaPad 5 with good specs (i5-1035G1, 8GB RAM) and a console for my brother through them. I didn't know they were likely Best Buy returns, but it makes sense. Any refurbished reseller will be hit-or-miss, but both the laptop and console felt practically new.

Actually, most of the time people post it to crap on great deals on things that haven't been on sale in weeks or months and will go quickly out of stoc... DOH!

"Actually", scrutiny of a deal doesn't mean you're "crap[ping]".

Sometimes folks can be bad at phrasing therefore it comes across the wrong way. Staying skeptical is always a good idea when approaching a crowd-sourced deal forum…there are many self-promoters out there.
