If you have Paypal Key you can get this to work as a Mastercard Debit funded by the Discover. Opens up lots of opportunities.

Log in to your PayPal account and create the PayPal key. Set the Discover card as the payment method for it. You will have a new "virtual" card number, expiration date, and security code that you enter in just like any other credit/debit.

As previously mentioned, this awesome with PayPal Key linked to your Discover card. You can treat it like a debit card to avoid a lot of fees, and use at places that don't normally accept PayPal (like Amazon), allowing you to get the 5% bonus on the Discover

That limit has been there ($1500) for a very long time. Perhaps only the first year or 2 they had the 5% there was a higher limit.

it's like a virtual credit card number. you can fund it thru any credit card you have on file with paypal.

I just have less taken from my paycheck, so this is money I have to pay (nowish) anyways.

Quick question. I have both physical pay pal debit card and the pay pal virtual key debit card. The physical one I have should work the same way if I follow your instructions correctly. Thanks for the info by the way.

I love this... but in the past, it was super nice because Chase would have Amazon during this quarter so all my shopping between eBay and Amazon was covered. Sucks that Chase did grocery stores instead.

You could purchase Amazon gift cards with Chase and also get 4x gas points at Kroger or Safeway

I suspect can milk this like the Freedom 5% PayPal categories. Just PayPal Key, and just buy a big Amazon reload for $1500. Bam, 5%.
