The code printed is ILBOGO18. Works just fine IN THE APP. Log in OR guest. Just tested it. Not valid online. Most likely regional (I am in central IL) so YMMV

Nope! I am a Vernor's gulping, Mackinac Island fudge munching, true blue Michigander who has been up and down the U.P. and through the thumb. I'll admit, I've heard the tri-county definition and that is the generous definition to local speak. What you cited is the Wikipedia definition for all three major metropolitans areas, Detroit-Warren-Dearborn, not Metro Detroit. So that's not Detroit alone. Besides that, secondly, that's a clerical-governmental definition and not the colloquial one actual Michiganders use. Most of us true blue Michiganders are so embarrassed of the dystopian dump that Detroit has become these days that they look for any way to avoid saying they are from that cesspool. It's enough for myself who resides in Wayne County proper to have to lay claim to calling my stomping grounds Metro Detroit. And I nearly always have to clarify that I'm from the greater Metro area, not Detroit proper, since the two places are worlds apart.
