This is the older DCF809 atomic impact, not the GOOD 850.
This kit without the extra item is $99 and I think similar (maybe better) ones have been this price as a kit as well.
So for an extra $70 you get one:
Brushed circular saw
Brushed reciprocal saw
1/4 sheet sander
Atomic oscillating tool (pretty decent for $70)
5ah XR battery

I know there are still plenty "hackable" deals on the HD site but this being a new May deal and in this format... Very curious.
Most of the add-ons sell for $99 or less on sale, so not really a deal on them, except for the XR finishing sander, which is great (IMO). It lets you use cheap sandpaper by cutting full sheets into quarters. It comes with a punch to make the holes for dust collection. If you figure $100 for the sander and $70 for the impact driver, it's about right.

What's the real difference between this & orbital?
Is it just cheaper/more convenient to use because 1/4 sheet sandpaper and better for getting to inside edges/corners?
I have got the orbital and got rid of my 1/4 sheet sander.

I think it's $99 bare tool right now
this saw is also junk. only good for plywood. if you're cutting studs or something even thicker, it will make you miserable. spend a little bit more money and get the 7 1/4" XR saw. the difference is insane
