I'd bite if I needed another tele. Probably a step up from my limited edition squier bullet tele, but it still plays well.

Affinity series Stratocaster in the same classic boring burst color is also on sale for the same price:

https://www.adorama.com/sq3106035...ailPrice=t

Squier Affinity and Sonic (previously Bullet) series are thinner than the standard thickness that Squier Classic Vibe series and Fender branded models have. It's not a "bad thing" per se, just something to be aware of. Some might even consider it to be a good thing due to weight savings.

I feel like these are a great deal at this price if you're in the market for a budget guitar.

Very nice deal. They're basically giving these away after the shipping.

Are these regular size? I just started playing in the last few months, and my only electric is about 3/4 the normal size and I'd like to get a full size. I don't think I'll ever get really serious about playing, should I pick this up?

This is a standard size guitar and a good choice if you just knock around on a guitar for fun. Adorama's an excellent company and I think you will be happy with the guitar.

I need this like I need another guitar...but I don't have a Tele and they're making it irresistible. I did have one before. I had to totally set it up, but it would not intonate, so I returned it. Hopefully a fluke.

Cheap enough for another wall hanger. Unfortunately, I'm running out of wall.

There is a problem with your logic, You don't have a Tele.. so that means you need another guitar.

I have both a Classic Vibe and an older Affinity Tele, and while the CV is no doubt a better guitar, it's not 2x better than the Affinity (or nearly 3x at this sale price). Honestly, I play my Affinity more than my CV, but mainly because it has an uncharacteristic belly cut (Affinity Telecasters used to be contoured for comfort, but judging by the photos here, I wonder if Squier ditched the contours in favor of the traditional cutting board body).

I actually think this is a mislabeled Bullet Tele or Sonic, mislabeled by the retailer. But It's still a good deal for a Bullet or Sonic.

Current and recent Affinity Teles have string through body bridges, belly cut, and a gold Squier logo on headstock. This guitar advertised on website does not. It has top loading bridge, no belly cut, and headstock logo appears solid black.

This looks more like a bullet or sonic Tele based on features and price. The regular price is $250 USD for Affinity Teles, not $230.

This could be a special run for this retailer but idk.

Ah-ha! That's it then— the listing is for an older Affinity (they had slab bodies and top loading bridges until around 2020). Did Adorama unearth a stockpile of old guitars? Or did they just use an old listing by mistake? If anyone buys one, please let us know what you get!

But what year is the serial number? And does it have a belly cut and a string-thru body bridge? Just wondering if it's really old stock like in the picture.
