If only HP made quality hinges. I can't spend $1000 on something that's going to break by Christmas

Is there a verdict on the hinges? I kept seeing posts about them breaking easily.

Pretty sure their Spectre x360 or the dragonfly would beat it.

I have one from 2016 that still works fine. Screen cracked recently as a result of closing it while a wire was between screen and keyboard. I've been happy with HP so far and picking up a new one.

Also, what's the verdict on OLED burn in chances on a laptop? Any long time user wants to comment?

You are absolutely correct about Burn-In. Currently all the 13.3 and 15.6" OLED displays are made by Samsung and none suffers from Burin-In. Samsung has implemented a pixel shift in their display digitizer which constantly shifts the pixels back and forth in the static contents of the frame. I am using Dell G7 7590 with 4K OLED for 1 year now and has a HP Envy 13 for two years (1065G7, MX350, Clamshell) with 1080P OLED for more than two years without any issues and I use them literally everyday.
