If you are going to cook or marinate, this gochujang is what you want to buy. If you are going to use it for dip or to spray over food, bibigo gochujang is what you are looking for.

As you can assume from the name this is more of paste, not sauce. Koreans use it with soy sauce, sesame oil, or water to mix it well. On the other hand, bibigo gochujang is made to target international market as a sauce just like how Sriracha had success.

Both, I personally enjoy using it in soups as well as marinades. There are different levels of heat that you can buy gochujang in as well. Seem people pickle vegetables in it as well with other ingredients. Not a huge fan of it by itself as a condiment.

I would suggest keeping this far away from your private parts.

Pickle vegetable with gochujang? You are not Korean.

I am told that it basically doesn't expire unless it gets moldy. It does get hard and funky though.

Seems like it could be a spicy Korean variety of misozuke. Actually doesn't sound that bad, even if it's not traditional. Maybe an accessible way for someone to make a...different variety of oi muchim.
I do use it for cucumbers but only a table spoon for a decent size batch. Using too much brings bold flavor to the food you cant taste nothing but gochujang. Koreans like to use more dry ingredients instead of slapping this on.
