There is a general 2x fuel points for weekends in July (includes Thursdays and Fridays) along with 4x for certain gift cards. About to buy myself, I'll see if replicable.

I added the coupon yesterday and was still able to get 6x the points, so its not the 2x weekend coupon at play here, since that only occurs on thursday-sunday.

You get 4x fuel points on gift cards and to maximize value you need 1,000 points for $1 off ( some states have unlimited value but few Frown ) $250 is 1,000 points and that will get you $1 off 35 gallons of gas. You need multiple vehicles or gas cans to emaximize the discount aka 35 gallons every time you fill up. Personally it's easier to get points in the app thru bonus 200 point gift card coupons where you can just by the minimum $15-$25 for each one and earn 250/300 per bonus gift card and also receipt survey every 7 days is 250 points a month

Yes at the end of the month ( points earned for July don't expire until August 31 ( it's always the following month. Also you are allowed 3 rollovers per year imcase you have to many points and can't use just call Kroger customer service and ask to roll them over.
