If the Economist was the economist of 10 years ago, I'd jump on it. However, they've transitioned to an activist / biased model of news reporting. Really a shame, they were the gold standard.
I thought they charge for that.!!

No cc information is taken, no auto-renew. You complete tasks on their site to earn pts and redeem for subscriptions. It doesn't take long...but some folks don't want to deal with it.
Some freebie sites for magazines can be hit or miss. I've been using RecycleBank for 10 years, and I've received every magazine I've ordered.
Magazines Currently Available from RecycleBank

Whether you use DM or RecycleBank, you can extend a current subscription. If you do, be sure to use the EXACT same name/addy information that is on your current mailing label. If you aren't sure...you can log into your subscription account at the magazine specific website to verify your information.
If, despite using the same information, you start to receive duplicates. You can resolve the issue by contacting customer service at the specific magazine (not DM or RB). Once logged into your account at the magazine specific website, you can send a message to customer service. You provide the account numbers off the magazine labels, and ask that the subscription accounts be merged.

If, despite using the same information, you start to receive duplicates, you need to reach out to customer service at The Economist (not DiscountMags). You can send a message via your subscription account (see link above) with the account numbers from your magazine labels. You just explain you are receiving duplicates, and you need the accounts merged. Alternatively, you can use The Economist's Live Chat Customer Service.
Keynesian trash. Hard pass
They generally specify the format right next to the magazine title. In this particular case they don't say anything, so I'd assume it's print-only to be safe.
