I honestly cant tell whats trolling anymore. With that said, its a solid cpu which is very capable for gaming. It goes without saying you need a gpu that doesnt bottleneck it or vice versa. In my media pc I have this combined with a rx 7600 ($230 from Amazon last year) and it does 4k video with no effort and can run games like Cyber Punk at 1440p 100fps on high settings.
If you dont see apu in the title, you are going to need a gpu.

Wow, what a bargain! I have this paired with a 6950xt on my 4k TV and it runs great (yes I know the pairing is a bit lopsided, it was originally paired with a 3070)
So I upgraded to the non-x version of this CPU in January of this year and wow this thing rips. I got it for $120 on sale at amazon.
I have it paired with a 3060ti and nothing I play slows it down. BF2042, Cyberpunk, Alan Wake 2 all run flawlessly.
I've owned nothing but Intel for like 15 years but I gotta say these AMD CPUs eat Intel's lunch when it comes to gaming dollar for dollar. You just can't beat this CPU for gaming
Good deal for this processor, which is about all you need from an AM4 short of a 5800X3D if you wish to mix in productivity with your gaming and still save some money upgrading. Got the 5600X for $127 last year as part of a combo deal from Microcenter, no regrets. Tested it with a 4070 Ti Super and the setup benchmarked as well as a 3090. Pair this with a B450 motherboard and be satisfied with the savings if you don't need the latest to quell your gaming appetite.
This is a great CPU that I got a couple years ago for ~$280. Very fast and will keep up for years, I think. This may be YMMV, but that wraith cooler will NOT properly cool this CPU from my experience. I bought a Vetroo V5 and it works well with it but it's an added expense.
