Add a 001 to the apt/suite field. It won't matter to UPS/Fedex if it's there and doesn't apply.

They sell retailer returns from Wal-Mart and Home Depot. Been around for years.

Big oof. They told FedEx to return to sender. I guess I should be receiving a refund soon.
Mine when from a scheduled delivery today to showing as "address corrected" on the FedEx site with a delivery date of Monday. Looks like they are returning to sender as well. Hopefully the refunds get processed quickly.

Just checked the RMA page on VIP's website and it shows:

Same here. It makes sense to save on call time and additional shipping costs. I was hoping to give it a test drive and see if I could get them down a bit more. All well.

I am one of the ones that jumped on this deal solely for the 1650 Super as I need a semi decent video card to tide me over. Now that it's 100% clear that they are not shipping out 3600x + 1650 Super machines I'm glad it went back without me having to ship it back. I just hope they don't take a long time with the refunds. I've had some companies take weeks to process a return and credit my card back.

So, I was wrong, I put the 1600AF together with the RX580, and the 3200G has an R7 370. The R9 270 is in another computer. Both have 16GB RAM.

I got the 3200G because A) after watching some YouTube reviews, I figured it would hold my oldest daughter over until I was able to get a 1650; B) by the time I got around to putting that rig together in May of last year, the magical 1600AF that I bought for ~$80 was going for more than double that price. And I said "No, I can't possibly spend more than $100 or so on a processor, I've always built pretty good rigs and never paid more than $130 for motherboard and CPU combined". Stupid, stupid me.

Didn't even get as far as playing Minecraft. I built it quickly, my oldest daughter (16YO when I assembled it) tried playing Fortnite (because that's what all three daughters were obsessed with at the time). She came upstairs and said "it's so laggy, I can't even play"; I logged in and adjusted to lower visuals, said "Yup, this sucks", played with drivers for a bit, then decided to try installing the RX 580 that I thought was dead (the Dell it came in wouldn't boot with it installed). It worked, so I decided that a 580 with a 3200G was practically sacrilegious, so I switched it with the 370 that was in the 1600AF.

To be fair to the processor, though, it *MIGHT* have worked well had I spent some time on it, and it works fine now with the R7 370. At the time I put it together I had three kids at home ALL THE TIME (not that I was different than anyone else) because of the wonderful social experiment that we've all gone through in the past year-plus. I just wanted to have three gaming-ish computers working all at the same time, so I didn't spend time I normally would have, figuring out why it lagged so much. This YouTube video (and others) shows it doing pretty nicely at 1080p: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Oz04RWUTM0

It seems like it is irrelevant now with them pulling the packages back, but I really appreciate the write-up. It sounds like we were in a very similar place, but I just used Shadow (tech) and Nvidia GeforceNow for most of my kids gaming needs during that experiment. The household has been chewing them almost 2 TB of data a month.

Shadow went from 12.99 to 29.99 a month and performance started tanking, so it was time to just build a system that would handle the task. Like you, I have a stack of old video cards that have been collected over the years as well as a stack of gaming laptops. Although, the stack of video cards is down significantly as friends and family have been in need of cards and they were just collecting dust.

btw, I had a RX390 that I could have sworn was bad, but I gave it to a friend for a co-workers PC for a kid and it worked fine. Those RX cards ran so darn hot and pulled soo much power that premature failure was common.

I was adding info to my other post, see my previous post edit above about the 3200G. Yeah, the 580 was a Dell card that I RMAd just before the warranty ran out, then died again post-warranty. I was kinda mad, it was (is) the best card in the house, and I thought it was dead, still won't boot in the original computer, now working nonstop with the 1600AF.

I also received the HP M01 instead of what I ordered. But I ordered as a guest and their site will not let me start a return since nothing shows in "my orders". Is there a trick to returning this junk when you don't have an account on their site?

My shipment was at my local fedex facility, and then got pulled to return to sender. Tracking now shows back to AR and the following reason:
"Returning package to shipper- Shipper requested shipment to be returned - Unable to deliver shipment - Returning to shipper."
Oh well, better than me having to deal with returning it.
