Building a WFH setup. Are 2 of these better or the IPS S2721QS? Thinking 2 32"s might be too much screen and VA panel. Looking to use the AMEX 120 off 599 offer too

What gets me with these new displays is how aggressive the anti glare coating can be, which makes text fuzzy/grainy. Gamers don't care about that but anyone with more business use plus occasional gaming is screwed. When you stare at text all day the last thing you want is text that is not sharp.

For the most part 4K resolution alleviates this issue, but no affordable 4K panels over 60/75hz.
A bunch of the 27" 1440p 165Hz monitors do suffer from text clarity. Great for gaming, no go for text.

The only site that even acknowledges that in their reviews is rtings. They publish their text clarity score which is a good baseline. Yet I see reviews complaining of monitors causing users eye strain: blurry text - eye strain.
Ultimately manufacturers should offers us an option to have the displays as glossy or semi-glossy.

Humbled, want to ask if IPS is relevant for a curved screen monitor? That is curved by design assumes the viewer at the center...Am I missing something?

For those who game or watch videos

ips for better color reproduction and maybe less ghosting

VA for better contrast and better blacks. For RPG players or those who play campaigns, then VA panels are probably more ideal, because MOST TVs, even high end ones, use VA panels.

Depends on how far away you're from the screen, I picked 2 S2721QS for IPS and G-sync/freesync

I felt like the colors werent that great on this. I have the 32 1440 and tried this out and it just didn't look that great in comparison. I also could hardly notice much of a difference in resolution.
