That one is a 85W TDP RTX3070, with a 180W adapter. While this deal, is probably a full power RTX 2070 super, with a 280W adapter. It will be probably faster all around.

This is a good deal because the 2070 super is not gimped with low power like many3080's 3070's and 3060's
Also the 3060's with only 6 GB GDDR6 graphics memory not too future proof.

Don't buy this laptop; I've used it for almost a year, and its battery life sucks. The laptop Battery Dies in 40 mins, and I need to keep my charger with me all the time. On the top, the customer service is terrible.

I will not go with MSI laptops.

Who uses a battery on a gaming laptop to do anything? Great processor GPU Memory keyboard screen and your worried about a battery you keep plugged in 24 hours a day lol.... I have had MSI laptops for many years and they are top notch so far. You can work on them liquid cool them add hardware to them and play them for hours on end. Also, if you take the back cover off you will not void the warranty. Great company!

Look up laptop benchmarks for both on notebookcheck and compare game to game. I did that yesterday, and the 2070 Super beats the top 3060 in every game I looked at. Not by a huge amount... 5-10% average I'd guess.

Just a friendly warning in regards to these MSI laptops. Please google MSI hinge separation issue. These laptops are made poorly.

Typing on my MSi right now and I have the hinge issue. While I am happy with the specs on my unit and it has been a pretty good unit overall, I am less than impressed with the build quality. May be switching back to ASUS ROG on my next one.

EDIT: Also, I have several keys on my keyboard that now squeek when pressed! That has become very annoying.

That's funny I've owned a dozen MSI laptops and have never had a hinge problem or a keyboard issue. I guess it depends on what version you buy....they have a multitude of them.
