Beach tents are usually not as durable as regular camping tents. It's more of a play tent for shade, not something you would want to be in when it's storming.
Larger Academy stores and Bass Pro Shops/Cabelas are a good place to compare them.
Some beaches do not allow tents, even the baby shelters. The entire Myrtle Beach Area (Grand Strand) is one, and yes they enforce it. But, that's just during tourist season.
They make it look like it has a floor in it... But this is barely larger than a sunbrella XL (which can be used as an unbrella or an awning like this thing).
Any recommendations for a tent which can be used on the beach as well as for camping?
its unusual for beach things to have floors (because of the sand). You can use any tent on the beach (laws permitting). But Tents in full sun are incredibly hot. Just depends what you need.

I've used a similar tent for the past 4 years at myrtle in peak season...never an issue
