Same price at Walmart, Amazon, and Target right now for physical edition. I have seen this as low as $48 somewhat recently at Walmart, so this seems to be a fairly good deal.

This has one of the greatest difficulty spreads of any Nintendo game if you're a completionist. The main quest is a cupcake walk in the park. Super easy as far as platformers go. The Soul Melter EX boss rush is some intense challenge. Nearly smashed my controller a couple times.

I've always been a kirby fan, but I didn't enjoy this one. It's too samey with all the other ones and doesn't introduce anything new. It was okay, but I don't think it's worth more than $30.

Yeah i agree. Not that much different, but i have to appreciate the free updates

What sort of updates?

I also loved the old Kirby's but couldn't finish this one due to its simplicity. Hopefully an update of some kind means it could refresh my interest

Like another commenter said, everything is super easy (good for kids) but the hardest face melter is basically impossible unless you cheese it to death with the ice + rock slide powers, but even that is difficult to pull off perfectly.

I have 99% completion, just missing that one last mode on the hardest level.

It's mostly playable characters. I think there's a new mode as well. They didn't really add to the core gameplay with the updates. The free updates for Nintendo first party games are nice, but typically it just means they releases the game unfinished and they're fluffing it up. My problem with this game isn't the lack of playable characters, but they added like 9 of them.
