These produce good amount of light but have such super thin aluminum body that if feels if you squeeze it a bit it will get bent or flattened (think of soda can thickness almost). When I tried to install using the clips unless the mounting surface is perfectly flat the clips won't lock or hold either.
They're pretty decent for attic or where they won't be bumped or touched EVER or else they might come loose/down.

I would expect a reduced life as the electronics are going to be unhappy with foggy / 100% condensing moisture conditions. OTOH, they're cheap, so if you had to swap them out every couple of years it might not be too bad.

For those considering using these in a garage with an opener - they emit tons of EMI in the mid-300MHz range, which is a popular frequency for door openers. I have 8-10 of these I put on the ceiling of my garage and they completely drown out my remote control unless I'm within 3-4 feet of the opener antenna. (I plan on trying to move/extend the antenna to the garage front with a grounded screen behind it, but haven't had time)

I installed mine last October/November and bought 2 orders. I have 5 lights that either don't light up completely or, if they do, are strobing. Wife calls it the disco garage...

Installation was easy and I hardwired some and used a bulb to socket adapter for others. Both the hardwired ones and the ones plugged into the adapter are failing so it's not an issue of install rather an issue of a shitty product

Agreed. These are definitely one of those "get what you pay for" things.

Well, I've bought in the past, and never had a problem. But I've never had ANY reason to BUMP or TOUCH a ceiling bulb.
There does it say it's for ceilings only? considering it's size its use would also be under the shop cabinets and areas lower than the ceiling height where you want more light right down on the work area (it's not a bulb by the way more like a strip light anyways). It also was MY personal experience with them, for this price I still think it's a good deal but just wanted to share my own thoughts on build quality as well. When I got them 3 of them already had dents and bends in them but considering the price it wasn't worth my time to ship them back with possibility new ones might have similar issue.

I have ones the same as this except different brand. They are amazing. I have them to light up my entire woodshop. Buy them!

6500K is fairly blue light. I was hoping they had a 4000K to 5000K white light on sale too, but instead they have a whole bunch of other lights on sale:

The 6500K ones I have are do not cast any blue whatsoever that I can visually tell. They are very bright 'daylight" white.

These look a lot like the Barrina ones I have minus Barrina are 20w and these say 22w else same specs and Barrina are shaped a bit differently. I have had great success with mine in the garage and basement. The Barrina are very well rated. These may be some sort of a knock off but do not know. But mine made a world of a difference in lighting and have been thrilled with them.

Bought these last go round. In use daily, multiple on/off cycles daily. Every one of them still functioning perfectly. Mine are ceiling mounted, and yes, they are a bit on the flimsy side, but each of easily held to a ceiling joist with only one clip...

Mine are not "blue" either, and the 10 pack is also on sale for a better discount per unit..

Anyone with experience with these, would I have any issue with them working in a non-enclosed carport? Shouldn't get wet, but would be exposed to temperature extremes and humidity. Tia

If you have a Menards around you, they are selling 2 for $10, so basically the same price.

I've heard reports of them failing in extreme temps.
