For fraud protection, I doubt Staples B&M would accept virtual credit cards. I could be wrong. If you decide to proceed, please keep us updated.

Another option is link your virtual credit card to Apple Pay and then pay by Apple Pay in store. The question here is whether a virtual credit card is linkable to Apple Pay.

Virtual card can't be linked to apple pay. I went to the Staples and came to know this card can only go through if it's an online transaction. In the register, associate punched in the numbers manually but it didn't go through. Where as the same way my cc went thru fine.

Weird. Better use your virtual cards asap like funding your Amazon account or pay your utility bills. Gitftcards.com hasn't earned good reputation anyway.

The rewards have been delayed again and the Staples Dashboard now says "July statement will be available on 07/25". I don't think I have ever seen it delayed this long, and 07/25 is a Sunday while in the past they have always been released on a Thursday. If anyone wants to spend the time calling them and finding out whats up, please report back what they say.
