Been shopping around for this model in particular, noticed another deal posted but only for employees eligible with the EPP benefit. This is the lowest price I could find for this home theatre setup so I wanted to share it with my fellow slickdealist . If you have anything to add I would appreciate it.

It's important to note this eBay seller at the time of this writing has 14,535 100% positive reviews. I messaged the seller and can confirm they stand behind their products and offer full warranty and product support.

Samsung's student discount is the same as their EPP for what it's worth. Absent of being eligible for either discounts, this is a good price. Alas, I could only afford the 800A when it was $500.

Not being smarmy, trolling or anything... legitimately asking... I got the Vizio M-Series from Costco for $300 (https://www.vizio.com/en/sound-ba.../M51a-H6). Is this setup truly $700 superior?

I had a Yamaha Soundbar and bit the bullet on the Q800a after reading Rtings and seeing it was the best bang for the buck. MAN! this thing is amazing.

I can see Soundbar tech evolving every year.

I got q900a($440) + rear Atmos kit swa9500s/za($175)for a total of 615+tax the rear was bestbuy open box excellent condition.. the q900a from beach camera which said Samsung renewed/new but turned out to be new. Couldn't be happier. Fantastic price overall and quality..the only difference between q950a and q900a with rear speaker kit is 2 additional side firing channels on rears of q950 which are barely noticeable

If you do the cancel trick you could get an additional $100 off too making the Samsung EPP price $899. Very highly (highest?) rated soundbar per rtings.

This just came out so i'm shocked the price is so low.
I actually tested this and the Sonos Arc and decided to keep the arc since my wife got it free from her work.
When you play the right content, everything sounds amazing with the Samsung, it really loud but good.
The rears do need to be toned down a bit and the sub is lacking at times where you wish it had more oomph.
For the sale price it's totally worth it imo.
The display on it is annoying since its on the top and most of those settings are not available on the app so you have to keep getting up to make changes.
If my wife didn't get the arc setup for free i would have gotten this especially for this sale price.

Purchased through this seller and everything was legit. Great system and I paid way below retail. Best Buy had this on sale with a $300 GC weeks ago and it was still $1200+. No brainer if you're in the market.

Imagine having $1000 to spend for home audio and buying a soundbar. With $1000, you could afford a system that blows this out of the water. Seriously, just look at that subwoofer.

How about the Klipsch Theater Reference 5.1 set for $750 less? (when on sale) Not Atmos, but additional speakers could be added after the fact with the savings.
