Looks like not compatible w sun joe from a deal last year
Thanks. I was just looking the other day. Almost like slickdeals is watching my cookies or something
I used this for about one minute before it stopped spraying. It sat in my garage for a year while I procrastinated on going through the warranty process. One day I decided to look up if I could fix it myself. Sure enough you can unscrew the little nozzles on each end of the spinning arm and clean them. After doing that it has worked like a dream.

while this does enable you to clean a wider areas, it does significantly reduce the pressure at the nozzles so it does not clean nearly as well as a regular wand does. so depending of the porosity of the surface and how embedded the dirt is, this may not work nearly as well as a regular wand.

I've been in the pressure washer business for 20 years. The most important criteria for equipment like this to work is GPM, not PSI. If you have a pressure washer (gas or electric) that's rated at 3,000 psi but only 1.5 gpm or less, this surface cleaner will not work or results will be unsatisfactory. 2.5 gpm or more is best.

2.5 gpm is the sweet spot. Much more than that and it will strain your pump trying to move the water.

Will a Troybilt 2350 PSI @ 2 gpm be sufficient to use with this?
Thanks,

Is this compatible with greenworks electric pressure wash? Anyone knows?

Same question... I have a greenworks 2000psi electric washer
I have a Sun Joe SPX 3000 ("2000" psi rating).
For my similar Briggs and Stratton Surface Cleaner, water comes out the nozzles, but no spinning action. The Briggs worked fine with my gas pressure washer which was 2300 psi.
IMO, get the surface cleaner made for electric pressure washers instead if you have a low PSI electric.

Thanks. I have the SPX3000 and was wondering whatever or not to get this.

I bought this a couple of years ago, it does save time but in my experience the plastic deck combined with the head only held in place with a plastic nut on both sides is a poor design.
When moving it over surfaces the bristles around the deck drag on any surface that is not smooth causing the nuts to loosen repeatedly which is annoying to stop and tighten each time until you are done.
I just bought a Simpson surface cleaner and find it does a better job cleaning with no annoying design flaws.
On Amazon it is about $60.00

Actually, your unloader valve (bypass valve) will go into partial bypass and may cause it to cycle, high pressure/low pressure. The nozzle size is critical. If your pressure washer calls for a 4.0 nozzle size and this surface cleaner has two 2.0 nozzles (= 4.0) you should be good.

I got this last time it was on Slickdeals for $48 in late May. I'm using it with a gas Ryobi power washer. I had previously tried to clean my patio with the power washer directly and got nowhere. This made a huge difference. I did have to tighten that plastic screw a few times. Two pairs of channel locks tightened it up pretty well but I liked someone else's idea of adding a screw. This is totally worth it.

Lots of 1 star reviews on Amazon. Seems poor in quality
For this price, you cannot, or should not expect much, but at least this one (like the similar if not same Generac 6132), can be repaired. A little Loctite and the right wrenches will save coming apart while using, the nozzles are removable for any plugs that happens from time to time and the parts list shows a replaceable center ball bearing unlike several of the others that use Teflon washers. If not prepared or able to do minor repairs on these, you are probably not going to be happy.

Meanwhile, the commercial units have wheels that roll on the surface, but they are not cheap.

I have this and the Briggs n Stratton version. I paid $10 more than this price for this one a few months ago. It's a great surface cleaner. Every bit as good as the Briggs n Stratton. Anyone posting negative comments about it are simple clueless and shouldn't be trusted. Just buy it.

If you are not running a commercial machine that is above 3,500 psi (our Simpson is 4,500 psi), and/or doing commercial work, I don't know that you would benefit from a commercial surface cleaner with wheels that approaches the cost of a decent consumer power washer.

The lighter OP unit already has a tendency to lift when approaching it's 3,200 psi rating to the point you will be pushing down, or just find the happy medium like running a floor buffer. If I were searching for an upgrade, the non-wheeled Simpson [amazon.com] that Jewel mentioned earlier is a good choice, but unless running a pre-water filter, the nozzles still plug and require cleaning. Most of the commercial people eventually carry a tool, or a small paper clip to clean out when needed.... that will often require a couple of attempts. Some, although can be a bit wet, put on an old leather glove and clean blockage under pressure the first time.
