I would not recommend these bits for glass or ceramics, they will probably break the vase.

Starting the hole into the wood will be difficult as these bits are designed for chipping into the rock and removing the debris from the hole. They are not sharp like metal or wood drilling bits. If you manage to get them to start a hole, they will likely damage the wood (not a clean cut hole) that your using them for. It is ideal to use the correct tool for the intended purpose. Besides, these cost significantly more per bit than wood drilling bits do. These bits are created for impact strength and not cutting ability.

I bought these months ago when they were last posted on to Slickdeals and only recently had a chance to use them. I can confirm the drill bits work well for drilling through tile (as long as you put some masking tape on the surface first to prevent the bit from slipping around).
YW! It's always nice to find a slickdeal at the exact time it's needed! Often I'll buy knowing I'll need the item "someday." Smilie

Is this good for regular home owners? I've been waiting for a set either titanium or carbide. It seems this is good quality but are the pieces in general too big to drill and install doorbell or cameras outdoor?

Specs say:

Usage: For use with Electric or Cordless Hammer Drills

I'm hoping NervousSnail517 is correct and used them with a normal drill...I'd like to get this if that is the case.

Don't spend the whole $.17 (2.5% of $6.99) cash back offer all in one place. 😂
