4K 60hz seems like a better deal from dell. 60/75hz makes no difference when it comes to the office use
But how much smaller are the fonts on the 4k. I've thought about getting one for office work but I'm currently using my 34" Dell gaming monitor and I have to run the fonts at 125% so I can read things. Wouldn't be an issue but some programs don't play nicely if you change the font size.

Also, which Dell deal is close to this price. All I see currently is $350 which would be a $700 investment.

Yep... that was a great deal with 10% cash back from ra ku ten and a $25 Dell eGift card.

Good monitor. I'm impressed with the image quality and colors out of the box... I did turn down the brightness as it was too bright for me.

Bought one during the previous sale. Great home office monitor. As a software developer, I couldn't be any happier.

I like the dell monitors with height adjustable stand. Good deal for those buying their own stand

I have the Amex 10% offer on one of my cards but when I go through the Dell/Amex portal this same monitor is $239.99? I must be missing something.

You don't need to use the dell/Amex portal. I bought this yesterday with 10% cash back via Ra and Amex immediately notified me that its 10% and $100 business platinum offers had kicked in.

edit: actually, the notifications were 10% and +1 MR points. The $100 always triggers, but doesn't send email.

Just purchased. Needed a good work monitor and something that's above 1080p for the 27 inch size.

I have this for office use, connecting to macbook pro.

It's not the best option, with stupid MacOs you really need to have 4k to be able to get a crisp picture (which would be effectively 1080p), but if you can't afford one, it's probably one of the best options for macbooks.

I have this one and 4k 27 LG, being able to run Dell at 2k natively is a plus, but the image quality is not perfect.

If you're gonna use it for Windows, it's a GREAT monitor if you don't plan to use for gaming for the majority of the time.

Office use/media consumption - 10 out of 10, would recommend

I purchased 2 of these for free as my company is reimbursing us for PC equipment for work from home purposes - they won't reimburse us for gaming monitors. The monitors are absolutely beautifully designed and were extremely easy to mount on my triple monitor mount. They come with various choices for color adjustments, built-in speakers (which I don't use), and are perfect for office work, and photo and video editing - I'm not paying an arm and leg for high-end monitors.

FYI, if you want more than one monitor at the $200 price, you will need to submit multiple orders since they limit you to one. For the price, they are excellent monitors.

Could you elaborate on the "effectively 1080p" part? I also have a macbook pro and was going to purchase this to upgrade from my 1080p BenQ. Is this dell monitor not going to be better?

Thanks!
