I previously used windscribe, which isn't exactly fast, but was so much faster than VPN Unlimited.
if you want to use this on devices that change often (PC, tablet, phones) you will be annoyed by the fact that you need to remove old 'devices' (if you max'ed out your 5 connections) before being able to use it on a new device.
And you can only remove one old connection at a time.
After that they will make you wait 1 week before you can remove another one.

You need to do one of two things to keep it from leaking in the stand alone win10 version:
1. hamburger menu - settings - turn kill switch on
It is not on by default!
Once it's on you cannot connect to the internet period unless you are connected to the VPN.
The bad part of this is that you cannot connect to the internet period unless you are connected to the VPN. If you forget to turn this switch back off you can't connect to your internet normally.
2. The easiest way, Leave the kill switch off and use qBittorrent. You MUST go to settings and options in qBittorrent's settings and select Tools - Options - Advanced then under Network Settings choose VPNU/Wireguard click apply and restart qBittorrent
When you change this setting you have to restart qBittorrent. If you don't see VPNU/Wireguard in the list then turn on the VPN and restart qBittorrent
If on the off chance than you connect via IKEv2 protocol then you would need to select VPNU/IKEv2 in qBittorrent
You can get this without sticky password for $13.25 here

If you need more privacy, like you're doing more than torrenting, then I'd use a different VPN
You can setup qBittorrent to act as a kill switch of its own by setting it to the network adapter associated with the VPN. If the VPN disconnects or stops working, it would essentially stop torrenting. I think this is where most people are suffering from "VPN leaks". Another problem I discovered with this VPN service is that their OpenVPN files do not block DNS by default. Maybe they changed this since I last checked, but essentially if your DNS is set to your ISP's DNS on your router or computer, the VPN would leak the ISP's DNS address. If you have it set to another service it wouldn't matter, but I ended up adding a block DNS line in the OpenVPN config files and it only shows the VPN's DNS now.
This is a cheap VPN that might go belly up once they run out of money and are just collecting cash with cheap giveaways of lifetime subs, but based on how long I've used it, I feel like I've already recouped the $14-$15 spent on it. Is there a risk of them monitoring my traffic? Sure, but I refrain from using this for pure privacy. You can even setup a virtual machine to access material that you don't want to be done over the VPN's connection or vice versa if need be.
Can anyone who used it for that comment on the speeds?
Downloads fast for me. But the best thing using this vpn on file hosting site is to skip the wait queue as free user. Just change server and keep downloading ! I mainly use this vpn for file hosting sites and never have to wait for cooldown after a download
Cool thing with SP (single license) is you can install on multiple machines and phone (Android, I think it works with IOS too). You can setup your account to always prompt for a One-Time pin whenever it detects new device or opt to not allow on any new devices. I get the hesitation with 'cloud' security, but you could use it without = ("Local Synchronization").
Any comments on Norton Password Manager or letting Chrome save passwords?? Currently, I don't have a PW manager installed and I don't let Chrome save passwords but trying to remember or find so many passwords is a pain in the neck.

They do have many different servers you can select from that have lower loads. But there are only 4 servers designated for torrents, as of today, which tend to have slow connections. There have also been times when connections to torrent sites just fail while on them.
For reference,
I ran a speed test while on my galaxy s9 using the "optimal server" in NY and got the following speeds:
88 MBPS Down
132 MBPS Up
My speed on Canada Torrent Server
93 mbps down
97 mbps up
My normal speed when I turned off the vpn
166 MBPS Down
185 mbps
Overall, this is a very good deal to get an unlimited vpn as long as you don't have huge expectations for reliable high speeds connections over VPN
If you download torrents, it helps prevent your home internet service provider from noticing or big brother.
It helps secure your privacy when using public wifi hotspots or networks where your information can be intercepted
It essentially gives you a layer of protection and privacy while using the internet.
Deciding which one to use may come down to the speed, cost, features, compatibility, availability and maybe if you even trust the VPN provider
I been using it since 2017 off a life time deal from stacksocial (think it was $15). It has been awesome for me here on downloads n various other stuff. Very very fast speed for downloads off mega, 1fichier and other file hosting sites.
I do recommend it based off my experience here. No idea about the password software tho.

You mentioned file hosting sites but why? Is downloading from file hosting sites a major activity like say streaming is? If so, what do people download from these sites?
File hosting sites are not like torrenting.
Can download or stream anything that are on the acct in the file hosting site . Contents varies on accounts you are downloading from.
Movies, game, music, roms , tv shows, whatever you can think of !
File hosting sites are much much faster than torrenting . Also are complete file downloads, not fragments compiled into one .
