There were plenty of 8 Core Laptops before 5800U. And this is a H series Processor vs U series 5800U which I think you don't understand the difference. It doesn't come in a 14" laptop.

I prefer the 11800H to the 5800H because of Thunderbolt port which can use an eGPU.

No Wifi6 (although you can likely replace the adapter) but the biggest issue is lack of USB-C power adapter. I'm trying to standardize everything on USB-C in our house and that's a requirements for my next laptop replacement.

If it has Thunderbolt 4 then it must support USB power delivery as that's a mandate for Thunderbolt 4.

Like most Dell laptops, this comes with barrel-type charger but supports Power Delivery via USB-C. While it would be great to get 2 USB-C, I don't mind a barrel connector + 1 USB-C: I keep the barrel charger at my desk and use USB-C (usually much more compact, or I can use a PD power bank) on the go.

6E is very new, there are very few laptops that support it.

Right. Like this is the cheapest component to add. You would insane to have that as the reason not to buy a computer. People have such unreasonable expectations sometimes.

Honestly don't see a reason to buy this over the Inspiron 16 Plus with the 16:10 3k screen for a similar price
