Is this a great mouse, and a good deal for the money? Sure. If you're shopping for a lightweight, smaller mouse to fit your grip/hand size, then there's no reason you shouldn't buy this mouse.
But does anyone really need this?
Of course, I should point out that I'm still using a Zalman FPS Gun [gizmodo.com] as my daily driver, so I don't exactly come to this conversation from a position of authority... and if anyone knows of a solid replacement (neutral hand position, smaller size) I'm all ears!
Good luck!

I got the Viper Mini first and hated it, mainly because the center ring is rough and drags. Maybe it is good otherwise but that makes it completely unusable.

And it's alive again.
Good luck!
