It's the same price for the PS4 version which you will almost definitely enjoy better performance on. The only thing missing for ps4 is the stupid battle royale mode which I promise none of you have friends that want to play anyway

Can you expand on what "better performance" entails? I feel like rhythm games are inherently tied to the frames so drops "here and there" are completely unacceptable. Is the music higher quality/the character models higher res?

I dont personally plan on playing both versions so no. I err to PS4 out of caution, since the Switch is riddled with poor performance in its games due to being a severely underpowered platform for 2021.
