Looks nice at first glance, but the price is still a little high. And with all the wifi problems it has posted online, it'd have to be a pass for me. If I'm paying for a premium laptop I don't want any issues with something at basic as the wifi. For everyone downvoting and saying "just swap the card!!", the issue seems to persist after swapping the wifi card, so for now it doesn't seem like a quick fix.

Wonder, if the WiFi is soldered. Those are cheap to replace. (Cheaper then ram or M.2's Smilie )

A calibrated OLED must be quite a sight.

I agree with the poster above that if you are a gear-swapping tech junkie you have to be really careful.

edit: and pick-up only... sometime in the future.

I have one of those earlier model with 1660ti and OLED and it held out very well. The screen is simply amazing. Agreed. The resale value is pretty bad. 3060 isn't too much better than 1660ti so I will wait for a better deal.

The problem is that you don't know if it's the card or antenna that's bad. Replacing antenna is usually a pain.

I have an older 1070 of this and it's probably the best for price/performance. It's got build quality better than my work Eluktronics, has a 10 key unlike a my old work razer blade, but still looks professional unlike an Alienware. The worst thing about it is the nose camera but I never use it so it doesn't matter. And it's by far the best screen even though my version isn't oled they really figured that Pantone stuff out. If I was looking I'd have no problems getting this.

There's reports online of people replacing the cards and still having the issue. It appears to happen under load so most likely there's a power issue to it

Ah how bad of a resale value we talking about here? Like over 50% markdown In a years time?

I'm also the kind of guy that always likes to be using the latest and greatest tech. Aren't all windows laptops pretty much terrible wrt resale value? Or it's unique to this gigabyte aero series? Only macs seem to fetch decent resale value no?
