2200 Max PSI 1.65 GPM 13 Amp Cold Water Xtream Clean Electric Pressure Washer

I've been watching for an electric pressure washer deal for a while. Been waiting for the ryobi to go back on sale, but saw this at my local HD today on clearance so I picked it up.

FYI: Their pressure ratings and GPMs are BS: https://www.prnewswire.com/news-r...94551.html

"For example, one version of packaging for the Sun Joe SPX3000 pressure washer states "2030 PSI MAX" on the front panel and lists the same "Max Pressure" of 2030 PSI on the side panel. The side panel lists a "Rated Pressure" of 1450 PSI underneath the "Max Pressure." A small disclosure at the very bottom of the side panel explains that the "Max Pressure" is "Peak pressure at initial discharge; working pressure under typical load is 1450 PSI.""

"Snow Joe's maximum GPM (gallons per minute) claims for water flow performance were also challenged by PWMA, which contended that such measurements were taken by Snow Joe when the nozzle was removed, not during pressure washing with the nozzle attached."

Most of them are BS. I've watched quite a few reviews of pressure washers. Pretty much all of the Ryobi have about the same output even when each unit has a different rating from 1600 to 2200.

It depends on what your trying to accomplish. You really need 2.5gpm+ to do and meaningful concrete cleaning and ideally 3-4 gpm. This would be good for getting stuff off that's just outside the realm of a hose nozzle. Think of this as a water broom. Volume and chemicals is how power washers clean, not pressure.

Interestingly, I went to find one at HD today, and it rang up as "clearance" at 179. That seemed like the regular price.

Yup. Had to wait forever for someone to grab one. And then get a price check. Reminds me why I don't play the ymmv game anymore.

I've found the best way to know how strong a pressure washer is, is based on amps on the motor.
14A is the way to go...

that said I bought a 79 dollar greenworks one and it works great for me.

Saw a bunch of these at my local homedepot for $99 today at Bellevue, at least 20 of them stacked on top of each other. I passed since I already have one.
