I thought Authority is Pets Mart's house brand. Interesting that Chewy sells it or do they have a common owner? I've given my purebred mutt authority in the past and he did fine with it. Great post, thanks OP! My dog food came out to .54 a pound. I usually pay about $1 a pound.

It is quality but not superb quality. It is head and shoulders over the fancy feast crap. It is not as good as some foods but those foods cost 2-3-10 times as much. And I always keep their pumpkin version foods for kitties with upset tummies...

I'm pretty sure Simply Nourish is PetSmart brand as well, since Petsmart is part owner of Chewy.

The two flavors left (chicken & liver, beef) are with 8 paws and 7 paws on catfooddb, so it's way above average. Also at $0.45/5.5oz, this is one of the few cheapest prices I have seen ... cannot complain. The only concern is the expiration date.
