Correct - looking at the "Specs" tab, it comes with 1 filter.

Buying direct from costco is obviously a better deal (brand new, comes with that extra filter for 100), but this isn't too bad if you're unable to wait.

It can't do miracles. It's a small/medium fan connected to a hepa filter. It does what it can, you won't find another air purifier of this size (at any price level) that will be able to do much better. Maybe try replacing your carbon filter more often and manually setting it on high until you think your room is clearer.

Also it should be noted that while Costco has official filters on sale for $30 there are also generics on Amazon that are less.

Correct. It comes with a single HEPA filter and 4 carbon filters. FWIW, Costco recently had an extra HEPA filter + 4 carbon on sale for $30.

costco used to. not has. and its only 1 time deal i believe. sold for $30. otherwise its still at $45 on avg.

well, if its not sucking my fine dust, then whats that auto clean mode for? people even said the sensor light changed color when they farted nearby. i dont think its working that way. the room is still smelling badly and it's only 1/3 of the advertised size.
