Got this free on PC a couple months ago and have mostly enjoyed the career mode. The grind is super long; wish it didn't take so much time to level up and improve your player. I also wish the game allowed you to skip past a lot of the various chatter, replays, out-of-bounds resetting, etc. You spend a lot of time spamming buttons trying to skip straight into the gameplay, even in the middle of games when refs hold onto the ball for ages during free throws and in-bounds plays.

Sometimes you can hold the skip button. Also go into settings and adjust it to have less replays etc.

Probably has to do with the read speeds and lack of latency from the eMMC compared to microsd. Some game files must be critically important in game. Microsd cards are "fast" but dont compare to SSD controllers.
Does this still have in-game ads and the whole "unplayable unless you're connected to wifi" issue?
This is what I'm wondering...it's only $5 but I really don't want to be forced to be on WiFi to play, as the switch's WiFi range is pretty poor, least in my house.

It's been a no-brainer for $5 so far since the Switch has so few sports options. I don't regret it.
