I applied the coupon and PayPal showed my order total as 13.25 when i was checking out, but my PayPal and order confirmation invoice shows i was charged the full 39.99...... WTF
Incredible deal.

I've purchase a few lifetime VPN deals, and this is by far my favorite. It features WireGuard protocol, and supports torrents.

There's also that bundle deal with Sticky Password, buy who needs that when there's BitWarden.

I have it and use it for torrents. Limited torrent locations but they work well for me. Allow LAN traffic when firewall is on is now the default so I can use Remote Desktop Connection to the torrenting computer now. This was updated since I started using it so they do update it.

Interesting. Definitely open a case prior to revealing your voucher/key/coupon.

Still not supported in the stand alone macOS version. Supposedly the app store version has it, but I'm not touching that.

I should have specified that I'm using the stand alone win10 version.

I use the macOS version, and it leaked with the Killswitch on, and received a warning from my ISP, but so far no issues with win10 version

This deal seems bugged. I checked out via PayPal but there are no receipt from PayPal. StackSocial's receipt shows my payment is N/A. Have not received code to redeem.

Update: I figured out the problem, because I revoked StackCommerce permission from PayPal before so the transaction did not go through. The weird thing is I still got email receipt from StackSocial saying my payment was successfullaugh out loud I tried another PayPal account and it works.

I got ProXPN Lifetime sub about 3-4 years ago. They went bust. YMMV with lifetime stuff, as it's only good as long as the company is operating.

Don't use VPN often, otherwise I'd give it a go, even if it lasts 2-3 years it's a good deal

How is this one in comparison to Windscribe?

I had issues where the vpn connection would randomly drop when using my fresh tomato based router's OpenVPN client. I changed my advanced settings to these, and I have not had the problem anymore. I would expect them to work on any open source router firmware with an openVPN client built in.

I'm pretty sure that was the first one. I got in on it too!

That said, VPN Unlimited feels A LOT more premium.

They seem very comparable. That's said, I've only ever tried Windscribe free.

I do like that you can pay as little as $2/mo for Windscribe is you're okay with only having access to one server. Then again, this thing will essentially pay for itself in 7 months vs that.

Interesting. It's been $15 before...

Folks should refrain from PayPal, I suppose.
