Is this not the normal price now for the GX? I've been tracking the GX series for the past 1-2 weeks and this seems like the new standard.

Buydig.com has it for the same price, and includes a 4 yr accidental warranty w/ burn-in protection, and LG TONE Free HBS-FN6 True Wireless Earbuds Bluetooth Meridian Audio w/ UVnano Case.

And two TV mounts? I think this TV comes with a flush mount.

Any thoughts on: this deal vs a C1?

I already have a wall mount. Do I need to get that one removed to get this placed on the wall?

Nope, as long as your mount supports the VESA mount and weight of the TV, you'll be fine. You'll just lose the appeal of the TV floating on the wall thanks to the no gap mount.

My 5 year old LG OLED stop working. LG refused to help because it passed the one year warranty. Even when I was willing to pay for the service they didn't help. The worst customer service ever for a multi million dollars company. I will never buy LG ever and I don't recommend it to anyone.

Been looking at the 55 inch G1 for my living room at my new house. Wonder if I should go for this or just bite on the G1

G1 gets brighter so if your room receives a ton of light G1 might be nice. If not, the GX should be plenty fine considering the price difference.

Best buy also has it for $1500. Their geek squad warranty is about as good as it gets. Covers burn in and if it breaks years down the road, you essentially get retail credit back for what you paid for the TV.

Love when they throw in those crappy wall mounts. Who the heck is putting an OLED on that thing? I mean I got one like that on a crappy tv in my bedroom, but no one is using that thing on an OLED 😂

The Sanus wall mounts are the best I've ever seen/used. I think their prices are a little ridiculous at MSRP, but I got mine at Best Buy for 50% off new. Instead if it being $150, I paid $75 which was much more reasonable. Sturdy as hell, motion ability, etc.

C1 is the new model replacing cx. However, the cx is slightly brighter according to rtings

I had a Sanus for my main TV in my old house and it really was superb build quality. Need a new one soon...how often does best buy run these specials?

My Sony 55" 900e died when it was 2 years old. Nobody fixes TV's anymore. TV's are throw away items. Do not pay big money for them!

Does this have a gaming mode on it? If so how are the response times? I've had horrible input lag on Samsungs before and I'm usually not fussy about that kind of thing. For reference it was painful to play ARPGS like Zelda:BOTW type of bad.
