I mean the bad thing is how do u even know its not a fake. There are bad fakes and good ones and the good ones are scary enough to look exactly like real ones.

I've bought Nike shoes from Amazon (prime and not 3rd party) and after closing inspecting with another pair I owned in the past, the Amazon ones were fake (I also posted on Stylenet forum and people said the Amazon was a fake). Amazon took it right back but this is why Nike withdrew their store back in 2019 since Amazon sells counterfeit and doesnt even give a shit.

Unknowingly is an understatment lol. Even few years back you could easily search designer belt, glasses, etc and get 10+ pages of not some but quite a lot of chinese vendors selling them. And mind you being sold and shipped by Amazon. You'd find counterfeits everywhere and yes, some companies do still swear by authenticity. Unfortunately, imitations are extremely well made and sophisticated. I am too a victim but I don't care because I bought into it knowing they would be selling fakes. And luxottica? LOL...they took over decades to finally shut down Amazon selling their counterfeits.

You guys give too much credit to authentic sunglasses. Most of the designer sunglasses these days are just fashion pieces. They are just cheaply made. Even the luxury brands from Luxottica are not that good.

i've ordered once. i also returned the glasses cause they were polarized. they didnt look fake but they could have been. i agree with @myamex in that designer sunglasses are all just fashion pieces.

This thread is hilarious... and consistent with probably every other eyedictive thread I've seen on SD over the years. Here's my take - no one really knows. I have purchased several pairs of glasses from eyedictive and full retail sunglasses for the mrs. from department stores - I honestly can't tell the difference and because of that, eyedictive has a repeat customer right here. All my orders have shipped on time, fast, well packaged, great box, great shades, no weird smell/residue. A complete win in my book for stylish shades that so happen to carry a brandname.

And this is why majority of consumers are fine with purchasing them for cheap even if it may be fake, as long as the quality seems nice. No one really cares unless you are buying something outrageously expensive with diamonds embedded lol.

Mine arrived today. The box was infested with ant. I mean a whole colony. Workers, Eggs and queen. The glass was fine. I imagine CS will be pain in the ass so just got over it.

Either slick dealers are the most clumsy MFers on the planet, constantly dropping their sunglasses at least once a month, or some of these posts with "I've bought multiple pairs blah blah blah," are highly suspect. Who the hell buys that many sunglasses? A total tosser does; and why would someone respect the opinion of a total tosser?

I bought 1x a couple months ago, glasses seem real. Prices are low for name brand, depending on what you want, so I'm. It surprised most people get more than 1 pair. I keep checking the site myself lol
