Cheap 75" HDTV on Clearance at Best Buy - $160 OFF usually $899.99

I've been looking for a cheaper 70"+ HDTV for my basement i just finished for the kiddos, nothing crazy as a i have an an LG OLED in the family room, but a large TV that the kids can watch while playing. I checked last year's Black Friday and they had an 75" LG HDTV for $649.99 so this is a tad cheaper, but lesser quality too if you just care about size only.

I have the Roku version of their line of 75" TVs. Great for the price. I got mine for $600 a year or so ago and been happy with it. My biggest suggestion is to turn off the HDR. The HDR on these TVs are horrible and extremely dark. Look up Roku secret menu for the controller input sequence to access features not otherwise available. In there you will be able to turn off the HDR which will greatly improve the picture when watching anything on Netflix or whatever service you use. Keep in mind that if you ever restart the Tv you will have to manually disable HDR again. At least that's the case for my model.

I saw this the other day, but as with almost every other decently priced large tv at BB, it isn't available within 250 miles.

Rtngs review:

Seems to perform alright for a lot of screen real estate on a budget if HDR isn't a top priority.

This deal appears to be very YMMV. It is not available within 250 miles of me.

I installed 2 of these in my VFW banquet hall. They are pretty damn good for the price. Decent brightness(plenty for darker rooms), good black levels, good reflection handling and decent color. They also have pretty good sound, plenty loud. Android TV is much snappier on these new versions. They have some quirks, but overall they are hard to beat. Certainly better than your comparable Samsung's and LG's. If you are super critical, step up to their next line of TV which are unbeatable at their price.

Additional note: I don't know how rtings rates viewing angles, but they continually confound me on this topic. Besides reflection handling, wide viewing angle was one of my main criteria for a TV to install in a wide banquet hall. I looked at every single tv under 1.2K. This has as good of a wide viewing angle and better in most cases than any other TV in this price range. Much better than Samsung, TCL, Sony and a couple of LGs, etc. This is not a flagship television, off axis viewing(vertical and horizontal) is more than good enough for most environments and people.

I have the H6510G 75".
It's a decent TV overall, but there are 2 drawbacks - the backlight is not strong enough to watch in a very well-lit room, and it doesn't handle quick motion very well, causing blurriness in areas of the screen that are moving very fast. Still, a pretty good big screen for the price if you can live with these downsides.
